Young Country star takes a timeout from touring to help a little girl  in her time of trouble. 

For Immediate Release:  Little Shaylen Richard wants what all little girls want and need; a place to call home. At a tender young age, she has experienced more loss than many adults. On October 9, 2010, Shaylen’s parents, Roderick and Amber Richard, were killed in a tragic motorcycle accident. Shaylen’s grandmother, Holly Castille, has been charged with the task of raising and providing for her granddaughter since that time.

Holly’s one wish is to provide a home where Shaylen can run and play in the backyard like other little girls her age. This is very important to Holly. Her desire is for Shaylen to grow up with the realization that she has a place to truly call home.

A benefit concert was held on Saturday, February 4, 2012 in Carencro LA to assist Holly in her efforts. The event was headlined by Jo-El Sonnier, the undisputed “King of Cajun” from Rayne LA. Hannah Belle was there as well, featuring her new smash hit “Porchin’ It” along with other cuts from “Chasing Thunder.” As always, Hannah was a crowd favorite and the benefit was a huge success.

Hannah Belle just released her first music video for the single "Porchin' It." The video was set at historic Rosswood Plantation in Red Lick, MS, and in her very own pasture. "I don't believe that the reality of it all has quite set in," said Hannah, "I was so blessed to have been able to work with a great group of people," The video was produced by Josh Harrell Productions out of Nashville, TN. "Josh and Jake of Josh Harrell Productions were a blast to work with; they really knew what we wanted for the video and captured the true meaning of the song," stated Hannah Belle. The song is featured as her next single on her newly released album "Chasing Thunder" which is available on ITunes. Hannah Belle is set to release her sophomore album titled "Chasing Thunder" to ITunes this Friday, October 7th. Hannah is especially excited about this album because all 8 tracks on the album were either written or cowritten by her. "The album is very personal," she said, "each song was written because of something that I experienced or witnessed, so they aren't just another song, they are much deeper than that." Hannah teamed up with her sister, Robin, to pen most of the songs on the record. "Two heads are better than one, especially if it is your sister and your best friend," said Hannah, "but I also have to give my ole Dad some credit for helping out." The album will be available on ITunes, Amazon MP3, Zune, Napster, IHeart Radio, and many more music download sites. Her first album "Pray About Everything" is also still available for purchase. "I just hope everyone enjoys the album as much as I do!" stated Hannah Belle, "I had a lot of fun writing and recording it, so I hope that shows when you listen to it."

Not only has she recently completed her sophomore album, and released her second single, Hannah Belle is now venturing out into the world of music videos. The video will be set at Rosswood Antebellum Home in her hometown of Red Lick, where she will also film a little bit of the video in her very own pasture. "I can't believe this is all really happening," she said, "I've waited for this my whole life. I'm nervous, excited, overwhelmed, anxious.. just all of the above!" On Saturday, January 15th, Hannah Belle will be helping out with the kids variety show "Kids Helping Kids.' The show is for kids, put on by kids, to raise money and awareness for kids who have been the victim of abusive families. Starting at ten in the morning and lasting until two in the afternoon, the show will consist of kids karaoke, fashion show, funniest hat contest, performances by Hannah Belle, and much much more. The day will be loaded with tons of fun for kids of all ages.

Hannah Belle is honored to be a part of such a great fundraiser, and hopes that all her fans and the families of the community will bring all of their kids out to have fun raising money for such a wonderful cause.

Nashville recording artist, Hannah Belle Southerland,  is getting the oppurtunity to open for Award-winning vocal group, Diamond Rio at the 3rd annual Bluffs and Bayous Music Festival. The event, hosted by Highland Baptist Church, is a free event that they put on for the public. Starting at 2:00 in the afternoon, the event will be an all day festival with fun, food, and great music all encouraging good family fun.

Hannah Belle is honored and extremely excited to open for Diamond Rio. She promised to put on an energetic, fun, and upbeat show performing songs from her current album, and a few new ones for her audience. She hopes to see and to meet all of her fans at the festival, and hopes that they have as much fun as she will be having at the Bluffs and Bayous Music Festival, October 23rd, 2010 at the Vidalia Amphitheater in Vidalia, La.
