Hi everyone!!
Well today is Wednesday. My sidekick/sister/tour manager/photographer/best friend, Robin, and I have been on a Kentucky wide radio tour since Monday morning. We have been to 7 stations over the past 3 days, and will visit 6 more tomorrow (Thursday) and Friday. This tour has been an absolute blast, tiring, but a blast!! I have gotten to meet a lot of the great people at different stations that our supporting my music 100% and it really is a wonderful thing to be able to express my gratitude to them face to face. We've also met a lot of new friends on the way that I was blessed to meet.
This has been Robin's first radio tour ever, and I must say, she has done an excellent job! You wouldn't believe how professional she is! She keeps me in line, on time, and smiling for the pictures! The only problem is...she is a grandma! Once the day is over, usually around 4:00pm, we find a hotel room... and she wants to immediately go to sleep! As I write this, she is fighting back [...]

Hi everyone!!
Holidays back to back are just wonderful!! I have been the biggest bum (with the exception of new years eve) the past few days including this one, and the trend will continue for the rest of this week because next week, radio tour starts back up!! I am super excited about the upcoming tour because the one and only Robin Southerland is coming with me. It will be a blast to have my best friend/sister experience a tour with me bc she is such a big part of my music that she needs to experience it. We will be leaving out this Sunday, and will be traveling through a lot of Kentucky and parts of Nashville. The proposed itinerary is to visit 16 stations in 5 days!! It will be busy, but it will be fun!!!
Anyway, I hope everyone had a wonderful New Years!! I sure did, and I know that 2012 will be a great year!!

Hi everyone!!
Sorry I haven't been blogging too much, but I have been having a blast doing absolutely nothing at my home in Red Lick! Its definitely the holidays around the Southerland household... Lots of treats, presents, and good ole family fun!! The whole family is here, plus good friends and we have been definitely enjoying it. Currently I am sitting by the Christmas tree, listening to good Christmas music, watching my mother cook a ham and some casseroles for supper tonight! Its a crisp, cool 49 degrees outside, and couldn't feel more like Christmas in MS!
Anywho, I just wanted to write and touch base and wish everyone a very very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!! The new year for me will start with a bang around the 8th of January with another wonderful radio tour, so I promise I will keep you updated!!

Hi everyone!
I had a little down time on the tour,(the first downtime at all this week), so I decided to write to ya and let ya know about the week so far. This week has been long and tiring, but it has been one of the most fun weeks of my life. Not only have I traveled through 4 states and seen some beautiful country, but I've also met some wonderful folks and made new friendships. I would like to thank all of the radio stations that have welcomed me with open arms. I am blessed to know each of you, and am grateful for yall's help and support! I have also got to spend the week with dear ole dad, and that is always fun and interesting! Yes, we butt heads almost 24/7, but we still have a good time together! Anyway, just wanted to check in and say hi!!! Hope everyone is staying warm out there bc I sure am freezing here in MO!!!

Hey yall!!
Just to keep ya updated... I just saw a rough cut of my new video "Porchin' It" and it was fantastic!!! I can't believe how well it all turned out with my goofy self and crazy friends just being ourselves!! It truly showed just was Porchin' It is!!! Josh Harrel Productions out of Nashville did a phenomenal job with everything and were just sooooo much fun!!!!!Can't wait for everyone to see it!!!
